FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Hampton, VA - HerculE-Q, a technology company developing next-generation wireless charging solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with New York Institute of Technology’s Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center (ETIC), led by director Michael Nizich, Ph.D. The collaboration will accelerate development of HerculE-Q’s wireless charging technology and result in a fully functioning Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

Through this partnership, HerculE-Q will leverage the ETIC’s applied research capabilities, engineering expertise, and student innovation ecosystem to advance its wireless charging platform from concept to deployable solution, validating performance and preparing the technology for commercial and infrastructure-based applications. The mission of the ETIC is to consolidate and expand the university’s College of Engineering and Computing Sciences’ industry-academic partnerships, foster innovation, and promote collaborations among industry, the academic community, professional organizations, and government.

“This partnership with New York Tech’s Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center marks a major milestone for HerculE-Q,” said Hannah LaCon, Founder of HerculE-Q. “Developing a functioning MVP is essential as we scale our technology and expand into infrastructure, mobility, and energy-focused sectors.”

The collaboration was supported through the strategic guidance of Jeff Johnson, Founder of StemComm Ventures and Strategic Advisor to HerculE-Q, and builds on HerculE-Q’s broader engagement with advanced technology ecosystems, including work connected to NASA-affiliated research and innovation initiatives.

“This partnership reflects our strong commitment to applied research, industry collaboration, and student-centered innovation,” said Babak D. Beheshti, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Engineering and Computing Sciences at New York Institute of Technology. “By working with Hercule-Q through our Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center, we are translating cutting-edge ideas into real-world solutions that advance technology, strengthen workforce development, and drive economic impact”. By combining HerculE-Q’s proprietary wireless charging vision with the ETIC’s applied commercialization framework, the partnership positions the company to reduce technical risk and accelerate its path to market.
